Food Day

Hadley is now eating baby food. The good thing is that she sleeps through the night. The bad thing is...what a mess!! She enjoys trying to take the spoon and bowl. For the first few days we fed her in her vibrating chair, but after squash was flung on the floor (the day after I cleaned the carpets) Daddy had to put up the high chair. Of course, for the first couple days the chair was way more interesting than the food.

These pictures are the second day she had Squash. She went camping with Grandma and Grandpa. Yes mom, that would be you and Ken.

Another Sick Day

I think I see a pattern developing in my bloggs. They seem to be written whenever Hadley and/or I are sick! For the past two weeks daycare has had strep throat running through. Most babies will not get strep, but that doesn't mean mommy was safe!! Hadley was a little pukey yesterday and have a slight temp. last night but seems to have recovered. Yesterday I woke with a sore throat, but thought it was becuase the windows were open overnight. Sure enough, I looked in my throat late last night and it appeared I had strep. I did have a rapid strep test this AM and it was negative, but I am being treated since I was exposed and probably just caught that I had it early on. Hadley's was negative and the doctor decided to wait on treating her with any kind of antibiotics.

Besides the above, we had a very nice Mother's Day. Hadley gave me a sterling silver mother's bracelet, and she made a gift for me at daycare. Of course Daddy and Ms. Judy helped her out. :)
